Legal and Compliance Disclaimer

This page summarizes the claim-safety boundaries for GSBKit, especially around accessibility compliance and AI-generated suggestions.

Accessibility Support, Not Certification

GSBKit provides assistive accessibility tools and accessibility improvement support. It is designed to help identify and reduce accessibility barriers and support WCAG-informed remediation.

GSBKit does not guarantee ADA, WCAG, Section 508, GDPR, CCPA, or other legal or regulatory compliance. GSBKit does not turn a website into a legally conforming site by itself and does not provide legal certification.

Risk Reduction, Not Lawsuit Protection

No accessibility widget can promise lawsuit-proof ADA compliance.

GSBKit helps site owners reduce risk the right way: scan the site, document issues, support visitors with accessibility controls, and track remediation over time.

Those records may help show a good-faith accessibility effort if an accessibility complaint or demand letter ever comes, but they are not a legal shield and do not prevent claims.

Manual Audits Still Matter

Automated scans, overlays, reports, and AI suggestions can miss important accessibility barriers. They do not replace manual WCAG audits, assistive technology testing, user testing, or remediation by qualified accessibility professionals.

GSBKit does not provide legal advice. Accessibility, privacy, consumer protection, and anti-discrimination obligations vary by jurisdiction and context. Consult qualified legal counsel for advice about your obligations.

AI Suggestions Require Review

AI-generated outputs such as alt text, summaries, simplified text, translations, and voice-command interpretations are suggestions. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable without human review.

Site Owner Responsibility

Site owners remain responsible for testing, remediation, legal compliance, content accuracy, privacy disclosures, and user experience. GSBKit supports accessibility improvement; it does not transfer those responsibilities away from the site owner.
